Luka Panza, CRO (coach)
“I was expecting that we will rise from the match to the match and I think we shouldn’t go below these criteria. We have a match against Serbia tomorrow and we have to be prepared and win this match. I think that any defeat brings insecurity, that we don’t need this. We are playing tomorrow to win it and I believe if we repeat this kind of a game, I’m sure we will have a reason to be happy.”
Ivan Panjan, CRO (player)
“I had a great day today, but I repeat always that I wouldn’t play like this if I haven’t had my teammates. We are a team, that’s why we are winning. We train well, the atmosphere is great and that’s why we are so successful.”
Jochen Beppler, GER (coach)
“It was a deserved victory. They were the better team today, we started badly and didn’t score when we had to. We missed three seven meters and it was a well deserved Croatian win.”
Sebstian Haymann, GER (player)
“It was difficult to find how to play a good game, to find a solution against the good Croatian defence. We made many mistakes and they could score easy goals and it was difficult for us. They had good defence, good goalkeeper and all of that was a problem today.”
