Advantage they had from first half Poland made even higher in second. Having one of the best players injured Switzerland had trouble to cope with high rhythm Poland put on. In the end Polish team convincigly won this match.

Best player in Swiss team was Patrice Bührer and Tomasz Makowski in Polish team.

Peter Nico, SUI (coach)

“In such an important game to talk about energy, I don’t know if that’s right thing. Defense again wasn’t good enough and without good defense you can’t win anything. I think that’s the point to learn. Yesterday defense was okay but today three or four important players didn’t defend like they should. I don’t know exactly why can’t they concentrate two days in a row for some games. I think that’s a problem for us.”

Patrice Bührer, SUI (player)

“From the beginning we were not concentrated. Defense and offense were not good at all. We made a lot of mistakes. But this is sport, life goes on. We have to work more and be better in future.”

Michal Skorski, POL (coach)

“We are very but also very tired. This tournament very hard for us. We want to enjoy this win and we are satisfied that we will go to next European Championship. We thank EHF and Croatian handball federation, everything was great, we had a nice time and good luck in future.”

Tomasz Makowski, POL (player)

“It was our goal in this Championship to be among top 13 teams and qualify for EURO 2018. This was our best match in whole tournament i we are very happy for this.”
